With just over two weeks remaining of the January transfer window, Newcastle and Leeds are looking to bring players to the Premier League.
One player on Newcastle’s radar – according to the Daily Mail – is Aaron Ramsey, who has struggled at Juventus.
In regards to Leeds, La Lazio Siamo Noi believe the Whites want to sign misfiring striker Vedat Muriqi.

However, both Premier League sides will be wary of pursuing these deals further after hearing the results of the Calcio Bidone award.
What’s the story?
Well, at the end of every calendar year, Italian football fans cast their votes for the Bidone d’oro – which translates to golden bin.
It’s a tongue-in-cheek award given to the most disappointing player in Serie A that year, and unfortunately for Ramsey, he has been named as the winner for 2021.
As Football Italia shows, the Welshman won the Bidone d’oro with 2,686 of the votes, narrowly beating Muriqi, who received 2,567.

Arthur Melo – who is close to joining Arsenal – takes third place with 1,794 votes.
It comes after Ramsey played just 98 minutes of Serie A football this season, despite earning a salary of £400,000-a-week.
In Muriqi’s case, he cost €20m (£17m) from Fenerbahce, although the Kosovo international has only scored two goals in 48 games for Lazio.

If it wasn’t already obvious that the signings of Ramsey and Muriqi carry many risks, this news should put Newcastle and Leeds off entirely.
Both Eddie Howe and Marcelo Bielsa need whoever they sign to hit the ground running, as relegation from the Premier League is a real possibility for both.
By the looks of things, Ramsey, nor Muriqi, are in a position to do that.
